October in Idaho - 10 things to experience
10 things we learned about Idaho living here for 1 month
1. Hot Springs: there are so many! We found October to be a great month to enjoy those hot thermal pools. This one is named Kirkham. It's one of the most popular, so come early.
2. Trailing of the Sheep Festival: one of a kind festival in Ketchum near Sun Valley. Lots of history and sheep!
3. Idaho is a little bit less friendly compared to Oregon...
4. Bonneville Hot Springs: one of our favorite
5. cristina's restaurant in Kethcum: the best focaccia in the US and Redfish Lake is the best place to enjoy it.
6. Idaho is not weed friendly but then again...
7. More hot springs: this one is a tub off the road just outside of Stanley
8. Sawtooth Range: this is a mountain biking destination, and we did not take that for granted!
9. Pine Flats Hot Spring: it is a bit of a walk to get to this one but the setting is amazing.
10. Ask the locals: this one is hidden in plain sight but you need to ask directions from a local to find it.
